Well what a jewel we found today, myself, husband and two close friends visited the Berkeley Arms today for a lunchtime meal, The food was delicious, the beef pie and veg was just amazing on this cold winters day, the Steak was excellent too, all locally produced food too. A warm welcome with huge open fire making it so welcoming. Corinne is the manager and she met our every need, making time to talk to us all about this amazing Hotel. We will be coming back very soon.

. Attended for a family reunion of 14 people and a Sunday lunch. Large size carpark to the rear whereby we entered through the bar where we were quickly met by staff who directed us and then we followed to be seated with the rest of our party. Good and prompt service followed and the waiting staff were excellent, limited menu on a Sunday but we knew before we chose to come, the offerings are very satisfying and on the large size. We did not have a starter just the mains. Went in hungry came out very full. Meat was perfectly cooked and presented along with a good selection of vegetables with the meal. Roast potatoes,Carrots, cabbage, cauliflower cheese and parsnips to accompany beef or pork. All the condiments you desire with lashing of perfectly made gravy. Our party consisted of Adults and children and both were looked after with limited fuss. Wide range of drinks available and even though bar was busy waiting time was low and prompt service was provided. All in all if your in the area highly recommend the offering here and price was particularly reasonable especially with the portions and quality @ £13.95
